Practice and Educational History

Mahalko Family Chiropractic opened in May 2004 in Germantown, Wisconsin with Dr. Sara Mahalko as a sole practitioner.  Dr. Ben Mahalko joined the practice in May 2006.  Drs. Ben and Sara are a husband and wife team that bring unique abilities and interests to the patients they serve.

Dr. Sara graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in May 2000 with a BS degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology before matriculating to Palmer College of Chiropractic in July 2000.  Dr. Sara graduated "summa cum laude" from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2003.

Prior to graduation from Palmer, Dr. Sara completed a prestigious internship with Dr. Cherie Goble of Winamac, Indiana, a world renowned pediatric chiropractor and staff member of the Gonstead Seminar of Chiropractic.

Dr. Ben graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in May 1999 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and shortly thereafter, began work for John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa.  As Dr. Ben learned more about chiropractic philosophy and benefited greatly from chiropractic care while Dr. Sara was attending Palmer, he decided that his true calling was as a chiropractor.  He left John Deere as a highly respected young engineer and matriculated to Palmer College of Chiropractic in July 2002.  Dr. Ben graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2005.

Prior to graduation from Palmer, Dr. Ben completed his chiropractic internship with Dr. John Cox of Barrington, Illinois, a world renowned chiropractor and staff member of the Gonstead Seminar of Chiropractic.
